Privacy policy

In effect from 3 October 2026.

This policy explains what personal data is processed when you visit sparrowsoul.ru, why, on what basis and for how long, and how you can withdraw your consent. It is written under Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ of 27 July 2006 "On Personal Data". If this English version and the Russian one differ, the Russian one prevails.

1. Who we are

The operator of your personal data is a sole proprietor (individual entrepreneur) trading as Sparrow Soul. The name is given as registered, in Russian:

2. What data we process

Until you give your consent, the site itself collects no data about you. It is made of static pages, with no forms and no accounts. The only thing processed on every visit is our hosting provider Yandex Cloud's technical logs: the IP address, the time and the address of the page requested.

If you click "Accept" in the cookie notice, the site turns on Yandex Metrica, a web analytics service provided by YANDEX LLC. It processes:

• cookies and a random identifier for your browser;
• your IP address and the approximate region derived from it;
• the type and version of your browser and operating system, your device type, screen size and language;
• the address of the page you came from;
• the pages you view, the time you spend on the site, and your clicks, including on links to other sites, such as Fortumania's.

Session Replay (Webvisor) is off: the content of the pages and what you do on them are not recorded.

If you email us, we receive your address and your message. Our email runs on Yandex 360.

3. Purposes and legal basis

The hosting's technical logs are processed to deliver the pages and keep the site working. The legal basis is the operator's legitimate interest in running the site you open (Article 6(1)(7) of 152-FZ).

Yandex Metrica's data is used only for visit statistics: how many people come to the site, where from and what interests them, so that we can make the site better. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(1) of 152-FZ), which you give with the "Accept" button. We make no decisions about you based on it and do not use it for advertising.

Emails are processed to reply to you. The legal basis is your message and our duty to answer it.

4. What we do with the data

We collect, record, store, correct, transfer (to YANDEX LLC), anonymise and delete personal data.

5. Cookies and browser storage

Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. We set none ourselves: Yandex Metrica sets them, and only after you consent. They include:

Metrica may set other technical cookies and use cookies on Yandex's domains; the full list is in Yandex Metrica's help.

The site itself keeps two values in your browser's local storage (localStorage), which never leave it: the colour theme you chose (sparrowsoul-theme) and your answer to the cookie notice (sparrowsoul-consent).

6. Sharing and retention

Yandex Metrica's data is processed by YANDEX LLC on servers in Russia, under Yandex Metrica's terms of use. We do not sell your data or share it with anyone else.

• The hosting's technical logs are kept for the period the hosting provider's rules set.
• Statistics are kept in Yandex Metrica for as long as the site's counter exists, and no longer than 2 years. You can ask us to delete them, and we will delete the counter entirely.
• Cookies stay in your browser until they expire or you delete them.
• Emails are kept until their purpose, a reply to you, is met, and no longer than 1 year.

7. How we protect the data

We take organisational and technical measures to protect the data: the site is served over HTTPS, only the operator has access to the Yandex Metrica statistics and to the email, both protected by passwords, and the data is processed on servers in Russia.

8. Withdrawing your consent

Click "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page and choose "Decline": from the next page load, Yandex Metrica no longer starts. You can delete cookies already set in your browser's settings. You can also withdraw your consent by writing to contact@sparrowsoul.ru.

9. Your rights

You have the right to know how your data is processed, to have it corrected, blocked or destroyed, to withdraw your consent, and to complain about us to Roskomnadzor, Russia's data protection authority, or in court. Write to contact@sparrowsoul.ru, and we will reply within 10 working days.

10. Changes

We update this policy when the way the site works changes. The current version is always on this page, with its date at the top.
